On May 13, the Inglewood Mount Lawley Community Garden held our first Garden Open Day. This was held in conjunction with the City of Stirling Free Tree and Waterwise Plant Event, which had roughly 700 people visiting through the day. This was a great opportunity for community members from near and far to come and have a look at our special garden and see what we have been doing. We had a few rainy moments, but mostly were able to keep dry as we showed our garden to visitors, sold herb seedlings and seeds, and held a raffle to fundraise for the garden. A huge thanks to our raffle prize donors - Devine Cellars on Beaufort Street, Paddock and Farm Paleo Butcher, Chakra Restaurant, General Public Inglewood, IGA Second Avenue, and to our member Lauren.

Also a big thanks to our garden members who volunteered and coordinated to make this event happen - your efforts are most appreciated!
